Dashen Bank’s Board Chairperson Resigns over “Personal Reason”

– Deputy CEO of Midroc replaced him

Dashen Bank announced the resignation of its board chairperson, Neway Beyene, as of last week. The Bank said the resignation is due to personal reasons.

Neway has been serving as a board chairperson since 2018 and resigned before the end of his term. 
Deputy CEO of Midroc Investment Group, Dulla Mekonnen, replaced him effective as of December 21, 2021.

Dulla was a veteran in sugar industry. He was the General Manager of Fincha Sugar Factory before joining Limu Coffee Farm in February 2016.

In July 2018, he moved to Ethio Leather Industry Plc and served in the same position. Dulla then joined Horizon Plantation Plc in October 2019 as an Assistant to the Managing Director.
