Ethiopia names Teshome Shunde Somaliland ambassador

The federal government has appointed Teshome Shunde as the Ethiopian ambassador to Somaliland.

Teshome, whose appointment covers both consular and ambassadorial roles, has been offered a warm welcome by Somaliland President Muse Bihi, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The two have already held discussions on several key issues, including regional security and bilateral cooperation, according to the Ministry.
