World Athletics announces Hisamitsu as official supplier for WCH Tokyo 25

Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical has been announced as an official World Athletics supplier for the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25.

The Japanese multinational pharmaceutical company specialises in topical pain relief and cooling therapy products, such as the Salonpas pain relief patches – which has been named the world’s leading over-the-counter topical analgesic patch brand* for nine consecutive years.

The WCH Tokyo 25 will see more than 2000 athletes from some 200 countries head to Japan from 13-21 September to compete in one of the world’s biggest sporting events.

Through Hisamitsu’s activities as a World Athletics supplier for the championships, the company hopes to contribute to a vibrant and healthy future for society.

From The Reporter Magazine

Hisamitsu highly values the culture of ‘TE-A-TE’, which means to put your hand on a loved one to heal them and wish them well. ‘TE-A-TE’ is a way of caring for others, and Hisamitsu hopes that the power of ‘TE-A-TE’ to provide comfort and inspiration will be used both in sport and daily life.
