Hello "Green Yellow Red", I understand why you are upset. But, I don't think it's a problem if he calls himself "Gondere". All similar names including "Ethiopian" is something we want to identify ourselves with. The problem will be if and when "Gondere" will react negatively when another person calls themselves "Finfine" or anyother location names. Until then, I guess you don't have enough reason to be offended.

His Eminence, Abune Philipos, is among the first founders, if not the only founder, of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church in North America. He is one of the few church leaders who stands tall to morality and truth upon which his belief and doctrine is built.
Utlimtately his recognition of your Organizations means a lot to us, fellow ethiopians at large. Good Luck!!!

Mohammed
You have put it all. What a wonderful person you are. My elder brother is a muslim and i am a christian but we share our religious holidays together. The reason is simple we are ethiopians. Both of us do not need government interference in our relegious affairs. ENTC should be very careful in this regard because no matter what truth prevails.
Saying that it seems to me ENTC will be the most trust worthy movement that ethiopia has at this critical time and i call upon all ethiopians to support it. what incredible achievement within a month of establishment. Reaching out to foreign governments for diplomatic status, trying to unite all political groups and announcing our leader's (no matter he is a leader of our nation) death for the first time. All this shows entc leaders are at the top of their job. One other advice to ENTC is they need to reach to Seye Abraha as it is very critical to have such a person at this time.

Thank you brother mohammed.

This kind of move is encouraging when the power is developing from the grass root , the people. It is the only way up when the council be able to mobilize the people like it happened in Egypt. The council has to have absolute faith in the people(Ethiopians -only Ethiopians) and its Ehiopian objective. Stay on track and vigilant to protect the movement from being hijacked by out side interest groups.

Dear Transitional Council founders and members,
I would like to see my beloved country as one that has independent government institutes such as the judiciary, the army, the government media and the electoral body. This institutes must be free from the dominance of the ruling party, whichever party becomes the dominant one in the government. That is when we, the citizens can say that we have rights and can hold anyone accountable for their misuse of public resources and abuse of peoples' rights. Therefore, as an individual, it is my wish to support such a movement, in theory. However, I also believe theory must be translated into practice and I still have to make enough time to understand the movement. It's my personal wish that you honestly work for the principles, and be loyal to the citizens and be honest at any given time even if telling the truth may seem a disadvantage at the moment. In the end, persistence in quality of ideas will win. Otherwise, if you aren't good for us, there will be no point in you being so powerful anyway.
