I don't think the fault lies on Meles. He was nurtured and supported by USA and UK and installed as PM without the will of the people. Everyone remembers that two leaders of great nations dubbed Meles as a new breed of African leader! Don't tell me a spy service that spotted Bin Laden failed to know the whereabouts of Meles. It is a deliberate plot to buy time until they spot another breed who is savage enough to trample on the rights of the Ethiopian poor. It is sad.

Mr Peebles,

Let me tell you our Ethiopian version: we identify the most secretive and unpredictable Ethioian and call him "Englis". If you are not Englis, you would also inform your readers how your country helped Meles to enter into Menilik Palace, provided economic and military hardware support and turn a blind eye on his ugly human right record.

It is good to write and exercise one's rights to express concerns and worry. But it should be parallel to all concerned. It shouldn't be confined to a few minority, feudal, imperial, outdated, narrow-minded, or to those who have been longing to suppress and oppress humankind for ever. Ethiopians have been continuing to change for ever due to so many cultural and spiritual phenomena that have been felt every corners of Ethiopians' lives. Always old premises could lead to wrong conclusions and confusions! Ethiopians are human like all human kind! No less No more! Ethiopians have so many beautiful ways to solve their own problems in various issues during peace and war! Undermining nation's long existed means to overcome obstacles has its own negative implication on how to cooperate and work together. In my view, for all messes that have been occurring in Ethiopia, USA, EU and China are the number one players behind the curtain! TPLF/EPRDF and Mr. Meles are nothing for Ethiopians without their well-trained security apparatus and without unprecedented fund from the above mentioned countries! Finally, I would like to ask all those who want to help majority poor and innocent Ethiopians to get out of such ugly and man-made catastrophic one should see humanity first before anything else as barbaric thinking had gone forever! Jesus is my Lord!

TPLF is continuing, to no avail, its policy of confusing the Ethiopian people and the international commtunity by releasing conflicting reports some dubbed ‘breaking news’. They have announced as breaking news that ‘Meles has recovered’ thousands of times. How many times ‘does he recover?’ If what they are saying is true Meles’s health must have relapsed every other minute and then recover every other minute. All cite ‘credible sources’. Interestingly, some of them even have changed the qualification of their sources from ‘credible sources’ to ‘very credible sources’ apparently because their ‘credible sources’ turned out to be not so credible. As the saying goes I believe when I see it. The only way the TPLF can prove that Meles is alive is by showing his current picture or video footage or releasing newly recorded voice. Short of that they cannot fool anybody except their few loyal blind supporters. If he has ‘recovered fully’ as they claim why hide his pictures? Why create such uncertainity and causing such a huge damage to the economic and other interests of the country? It is either Sebhat and his fellow thugs do not understand the huge damage the uncertainity is currently causing to the country or they are forced to take the damage (from the uncertainity by hiding Meles’s death) because that is a good politics (delaying the inevitable loss of power a little bit longer) as far as their own self-interests are concerned. The confused Sebhat is adding yet another layer of confusion to the uncertainity. It is sad that Ethiopia has fallen into the hands of these confused thugs who have only been trained how to kill. But better days are ahead and keep the hope alive.
