LOL, and who is living in lala land? We created the real Ethiopia. It was us in Harar, it was us in Sidama, it was us in Keffa, it was us in Gofa. You have no clue what price was paid to recreate and sustain this nation. The simple point I want to make is Seeye, no matter how distructive you might think he is, no matter how much you despise him, no matter what you say about Abraha Belay this that, they are all Ethiopians. You simply are not.

I would like to also add, out of 100 comments I left at this site for ages, it is interseting only this one showed up. Inquiring minds want to know?

I am as much an Ethiopian as you are and I have an opinion.
It seems to me that you live in Lala land. The Ethiopia that you imagine in your mind is not the real Ethiopia. Ethiopia is a complex country. Try to come out of the deep hallucination/bubble to deal with real world problems.

Your control over Ethiopia ceased in 1998. We Ethiopians never hated you. Why you were ministers, generals, ambassadors, and in parliament during the Imperial times, while Eritrea was under Italian rule. Yet you raised your kids creating monstor out of us. You fed Meles and created his group to humiliate us. Go find Sebhat Ephrem’s interview with the New York times, May 1991. He telling us about the “Amaras” that can’t fight, when the record was clear who chased the Italians in five years, and who served them loyally for fifty. That we have not forgotten. You are another country. We respect that, we have accepted that. Stay where you are and stay clear out of Ethiopian affairs. That is my advice to you. As for Siye etc, no matter what the outcome, I d rather live under them as a dog, rather than live in a golden house under you. You people don’t get it. Out of a million crimes Meles committed against Ethiopians, the single most important part we despise him for is that he is not an Ethiopian. Remember that.

We have to think on how to chart a new peaceful future for the people in Ethiopia and the entire Horn of Africa.
I disagree with Abraha Belai of Ethiomedia, who habitually fans venomous hatred against Eritreans. That will not serve our interest. It may serve the interest of the group (Seeye, Tewolde, Tsadkan, Aregash and others) that he works for. These individuals are the worst of the worst within TPLF. If they succeed, Ethiopia and the region are doomed.

Meles is the head of brutal dictators TPLF, he has done his job and fulfiled the wish of his western masters but time has changed, and the resentment by Ethiopian people toward him and his crime families is to much and for his masters his becoming more of a liability than any usefulness and there is no need for them to keep him at the helms of the nations power and the time has come and he absolutely has to go but with a reward. but where will a paniced dictator go? no where. In his case he beged his masters to save him what will sure be of his ultimate demis of ending like Mubarek or Ghadafi. Yes he is a good boy for his masters and they gave him his last wish and guaranti him that they will not abandone him so his other crime families will continue to dismantle Ethiopia with no fear, For that they have to keep him alive to show their kindness to their loyal gangester. The sell out dictator is alive and well. How ever he will not be the same man and the same face but a different one living in another country so he can enjoy his life for destroying mother Ethiopia but condomened he will not touch that holy land even in death.

The latest unsubstantiated report by the Sudan Tribune about Meles is no different from the previous conflicting reports on The Reporter, Addis Fortune, The Capital, Addis Admas, Aiga Forum, etc. It is no different from the conflicting interviews given by Sebhat Nega and Bereket Simon either. They all turned out to be false. It is nothing but meant to spread more confusion on the part of the TPLF. We already know that Meles, before his complete disppearance, was talking to the feuding parties in the two Sudans. One of his very few appearances on the TV screen in the last several months is talking to Sudanese defence minister and it was very clear then too that Meles was sick, frail and pale. This is what they are using to create confusion and it might be what the AU officials are talking about. No one has ever claimed to have spoken to Meles in the last couple of months, even Sebhat Nega. Listen to Sebhat Nega’s ESAT interview. Just for the sake of argument, let us forget the credible report by ESAT on the death of Meles citing credible sources in the know in the ICG. If Meles cannot offer condolences on the death of one of his closest personal and family freinds and a fellow townman from Adwa, what more do you need as a proof for Meles’s death? Do you want to see his death certificate? I do not think the TPLF will release it any time soon. Do you believe that Meles who is so unable to offer condolences on the death of his close personal friend is somehow able to involve from his sick bed in as complex issues as peace negotiations between two warring countries? This is laughable and yet another fabrication by the TPLF propaganda machine. The domestice TPLF affiliated outlets such as The Reporter, Addis Tribune, etc have all dropped the story on Meles’s status altogether (because they know that no one trusts anymore what they write on this issue as all the previous conflicting reports ended in fiasco ) and now Bereket is using the newspaper just across the border, the Sudan Tribune (using a reporter stationed in Addis, kkkkk…,lol), to spread the false propaganda.

From critical observation of the developments so far, it looks like certain groups in the military with probable backing of the Dehninet are in control of the drama which left the other TPLFites (the executive committee member bigwigs) dizzied with their jaws dropped wide open to this day. It also seems that sympathizers of the Siye Abraha/Tewolde group have emerged and are running the show. Yes, that is right! We could probably see any or some of Gen. Tsadkan, Tewolde, Siye, Aregash coming back on board of TPLF ship!

Both sides are playing it meticulously so that their fall out from their fights inside doesn’t make them look weak from outside so that they could be overwhelmed by external forces like the people or the clandestine opposition groups.

As of now nothing has been heard from Meles on the death of his blood relative, his very close personal and family friend, fellow townman from Adwa, comrade and appointee tagay paulos. THIS IS THE CLEAREST SIGNAL YET FROM THE TPLF THAT MELES IS DEAD. Every organ of the TPLF regime worthy of its name including the fake president, all the regional states in Ethiopia, all the ministries, embassies, etc are sending condolences on the death of tagay paulos. The only conspicous MIA is Meles. There is no one who is personally and familially closer to tagay paulos than Meles in the whole TPLF mafia group’s ringleaders. The death of tagay paulos is very personal and familial to Meles. It is not like a death of any of his other appointees. This death is hitting very close to home for Meles. There is no other earthly reason short of death that can prevent Meles from at least sending condolences on the passing of tagay paulos. The answer Shimelis Kemal gave to an AFP journalist’s loaded question is also very telling. He was asked if Meles would be attending the funeral of tagay paulos. The normally assumptive, arrogant, haughty and pompous Shimelis who likes to pretend to know every thing going under the sun was very subdued and said “I have no information.” It also seems that the TPLF is finally tired of lying after lying after lying and refrained from writing/sending condolences in the name of the dead person – Meles. They could have easily said it on the ETV in the name of Meles but I think it is finally dawning on them that the Almighty God is watching from above and they decided to pass it up this time around. Therefore one can safely bet his/her lifelong savings that Meles is dead.

After watching ESAT TV Abebe Gelaw and W/O Azeb Mesfin”s cousins, I learned a lot.
I admire the maturity, the noblity of and respectabilty of all three panelists. This is real, genuine interview with real meaningful points.

Secodly, how we all Ethiopians are harmed, robbed of material wealth, historical, right to survive in our own God given birth places by this regime.

How an 18 year old can join an enemy can play as agent”s fire to burn her own people to
abject ashes. Watching this program made me to stand up for, reconnect as brother to people of wolkyit whom I have no knowledge at all. I felt so sad after hearing these two
very candid, well versed, bright relatives of W/O mesfin suffer hear in the USA, just like the rest of us who came from Sidama. We have so much in common in our pains under such injustices we faced.
I than Abebe Gelaw, those two brothers of W/O mesfin I feel you, we all are living almost
in same predicament. We all are related in these sufferings. God bless you for coming foreward with such uniting message. As Abesha’s some do shy away from talking about
relatives, you are true symbols of honest, integirity, and most of all bravery.
ESAT, please pass my heart felt message to all of them.
