As you pointed out doc, woyannes long term strategy is clear: If they won convincing some gillible Ethiopians that dictator bloody Meles was a great leader nationally and globally, it wouldn't that hard for them maintaining thier old misguided system. Isn't it wise and nobe cause had they could just spend our meager nation's resource on feeding and educating the poors instead of purchasing hardware weapons, abusing human rights, giving away lands, etc?
By the way, the real TPLF diehards are the elite tgres or as the dictator fondly called them 'my golden people'. The rests are fake selfish hodams without principled concience.

It is my wish that every thinking breathing Ethiopian who wants the best for the motherland follow your advice and uncanny observation to think as one instead of as fragment.
Do you remember the fashist symbol where a bunch of stickes tied together to make it strong and hold the axe, if all the rest of us fragmented and who are left behind are only united we can achieve a goal we can set. Otherwise the present tigrai junta who had inserted a wedge between all the rest of all other tribes will win once more.
Thank you again for undaunted observation.

FORTUNE FAVORS ACTION

I am of the opinion that most of the opposition lacks a clear sight on the current stratagem of the racist regime. Here is why.

1
In essence, the late prime minister of Tigray has never been the son of Ethiopia, the leader of Ethiopia or a true prime minister of Ethiopia. Woyane Tigray can burry him in Addis or Adwa. We need to stop wasting time on the images and symbolics of Meles death. Meles is not a factor any longer.

2
The racist regime fully recognizes the fact that it has no political legitimacy, no moral basis to rule, and no truly popular support to govern. The regime takes the possibility of a popular uprising very seriously. The West does the same. And, Bereket is doing something about it.

3
We know that Woyane has 38 years of secret organizing skills, centralized control, and complex propaganda mechanisms. These skills are exposed to the world community. The world is in consensus when it comes the authritarian nature woyane Tigre. Centralized organization and control alone are not going to sustain post-Meles woyane Tigre.

4
It is this fundamental weakness of the regime that Bereket is fixing with N. Korean type of forced mourning. Meles’s demise is used to seek or pretend to show an image of popular support, sense of legitimacy and also prepare a possible civil war in the case of opposition uprising. Consider the mobilization the Addis homeless for Meles mourning. Why was it necessary?

The strategic purpose, real intent of the demo drama is to counter the growing, and simmering popular discontent.

Bereket is effectively pro-acting against a possible Mass uprising. He is on the offensive. How many folks see this clear event?

5
What is the response of the opposition? Meles’s burrial drama is a diversionary tactic. The real campaign is to kill the uprising before it is born. This is what is really taking place.

If the opposition allow Bereket to complete and win this hidden offensive, we are sure of a weakened possibility for uprising, a darker repression, and a huge possibility of the declining mass protest.

What is to be done?

First, the relevant opposition need to see this reality and contemplate upon its consequences.

Second, the opposition must turn Woyane staged demos into forms of protest, organizing opportunites, and/or popular risings. Woyane structures need to be penetrated, their plans foiled, and people informed of Woyane plans and intention.

Woyane Tigre is trying to fix their racist dictatorial gap; it is trying to alter the world consensus on its authoritarian nature, and it is trying to pre-empt the growing Arab Spring.

The opposition doesn’t have the luxury of wasting time around the Meles diversion.
