There is unanimous approval by all commentators to Mrs. Graham Peebles analysis. Really it deserves. The question is that such kind of analyses have been posted by Ethiopian authors but there has never been common interpretation and agreement among the readers. Why? What does it mean? I am aware that all opposing comments are not genuine. some are maliciously posted to give an impression that we are deeply divided and can never stand together. This way discourage us from the struggle. We have to be able to listen each other without prejudice. We can go no where unless we overcome the division and fragmentation which we are victim of. Unite! Unite! Unite! There will be enough time to discuss and solve the differences.

This is one of the best and clear judgement I have ever seen or read. The benefit of the dought can be given but the ruling party is not endowed with the culture of compromise. This view of a foreign observer is an insult to them. There seems to be no miracle to convince them that their veins absorb the truth and reality of Ethiopia at present. Their concern is about today, not even tomorrow. They love power by wich they can kick poor Ethiopians. YILUGNITA is not in their dictionary. They nerver learn from history. When one analizes deeply, a conclusion can be met that there could be no possitive solution for Ethiopia except separation on Ehnic lines. Why not try that just like Eritrea and South Sudan ? I do not see any glimpse of hope to sit around the table and solve problems with ethnic group that has completely opposite culture with the other. They will not even allow you to sit around the table and dine together. We have been in such trouble the last 100 years. How many more years is it that we live in such a mess? Enough is enough. For every thing there should be limitations. We go beyond limitations; that is naivete and stupidity. I do not believe anybody wishs to let our children and grand children go through all the mess we have been through. You can not wish to live with some body as roommate while you very clearly know that it would be impossible to live with that very person to live as neighbour. That is all. Thank you

Graham's argument are loud and clear. Meles's rule was:

The price of his short sightedness and ideologically-driven policies has been paid by the people, whose human rights were ignored, and freedoms stolen.

The sad part is that although intelligent Meles was very insecure and this translated itself in what Graham says defensiveness, manipulation and being clever only to give the impression that he knew best for the people and country. He worried very much of being critised therefore he silenced those that were critical or opposed him even among those that fought along him.

To say now that he left to big shoes to fit anyone is a farse. Now that he is gone, those that did not dare, probably dare and those that did not speak dare speak. What is the most criminal act is the fact that EPRDF is represented along ethnic lines and the TPLF consistutes a minority withi Ethiopia. How long can they continue cheating and pretending that they are sharing power with all ethnic groups in Ethiopia. This is the legacy that Meles left. He will be remember as the only tigrean/eritrean that ruled Ethiopia for 21 years. That is what he always wanted to accomplish, as far as he was concerned he achieved that and deceived everyone. Now EPRDF can not even elect a PM, pathetic.

As usual a great piece. No words can express the suffering of the Ethiopian people under Meles. He brought shame for the name Ethiopia, hate among ethiopians, economic and political deprivation unknown before.

Despite the praises, he will eventually exposed as a dictator, racist, anti-Ethiopian monster ever trampled on Ethiopia and its people.

He hated Ethiopia more than Benito and he thrreated them worse. He had little regard for Ethiopians, as his friend Susan Rice expressed it for him.

He thought all of us were dumb and coward because we could not kill him as he was killing our people.

He fantacised his power and arrogance. He was nothing but disaster and master of alcemy, who fabricated history, stat, and lies about Ethiopia and its histroy.

Let his sould and ideas go to hell.

Well, what would I say, thank you for involving yourself in this complicated politics of ours.
How can we help to maximize the number of your readers especially in EU and N. America( i know most of them don't give a damn), because I found your articles are educative.
