It is true to what you said. I don’t think Tigray will seek independence. It is a suicide. The old demented Sibhat is showing a sign of cyclic evolution, acting like a child when you get too old. He lost his recent memories and regurgitates what he knew/learned at younger age.

The danger of Ethiopian disintegration is real. It comes not from Tigray but from somewhere else. At that point, Tigray and Amhara will find themselves in real trouble.

Who says H m desalegn should replace the PM? not the constitution. What it says is a Deputy PM acts as the PM in the absence of the PM but this does not mean he will replace him. Ask yourself this question what if the PM resigns (not die), who will replace the PM? The deputy PM? NO. first there is no law that says that and no logic would allow this. So the PM replacement should take place in the usual manner, from TPLF as usual, if this is contested then by Election not appointment. The rest of EPRDF may or may not agree now (they “agreed” before). However if they want to change this state now it is like a coup d’etat, that is they have no law or logic to back them. There is nothing wrong if TPLF wants the PM’s seat at least logic and previous practice is on their side.What is left to sit around the table and formulate a new law or come to an agreement.

Does EPRDF members care if Tigray secedes? NO. Why dont they let them do that? because the rest of EPRDF have no brains or they worry too much for their investments and the crimes they committed so far and are afraid of backlashes from their own people or the system created is too rotten to stand on its own. Who cares about the disintegration of Ethiopia? Who is shibat Nega trying to scare?

Anyways there will be no dangerously explosive situation. Who will put who in danger? EPRDF will put itself in danger? no. EPRDF members will settle down their dispute peacefully though they may fight over who gets the lions’s share.

The gist of the matter is rest of EPRDF have no reformers in them. Their worry is their investments and nothing else!!!!!!!!
